Job summary

RONA is seeking a skilled forklift operator for our distribution center. You will load and unload goods, move inventory, and prepare orders while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and following safety protocols.

You will work in a team to ensure accurate stock handling and timely fulfillment, using SMART principles to deliver excellent customer service. This role requires forklift certification and physical stamina, with growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is required or license if applicable.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with good communication.
• Familiarity with stock management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and store products according to standards.
• Inspect equipment, loads, and products to ensure compliance and report issues.
• Prepare and assemble orders, prioritizing tasks and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by assisting with warehouse and yard maintenance.
• Record returns and stock adjustments in the system.
