Job summary

RONA in Châteauguay, QC is seeking an Order Checker / Order Picker to support receiving, loading, and handling operations in our distribution center. You will operate a forklift to move goods and will be responsible for ensuring orders are accurate and complete.

The role emphasizes working safely, maintaining a clean workspace, and collaborating with teammates to deliver excellent customer service. Knowledge of order documentation and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand purchase orders.
• Follow up with managers to ensure orders are accurate and on schedule.
• Detail-oriented and highly attentive to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and store products according to standards.
• Inspect equipment, loads, and products to ensure compliance and report issues.
• Prepare and assemble orders, prioritizing tasks and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by assisting with warehouse and yard maintenance.
• Record returns and stock adjustments in the system.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer service using SMART principles.
