Job summary

Randstad Canada in Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC is seeking an order picker to receive, store, pick, pack and ship goods, contributing to accurate inventory and on-time order fulfillment.

The role operates on day shifts, Monday to Friday, with options of 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and features weekly pay and free parking. English-speaking environment; requires WMS experience and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
• Must have access to a car for commuting.
• Proficiency with computers and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience operating material-handling equipment.
• Physical ability to regularly lift up to 40 lb (18 kg).
• Strict adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
• Receive, inspect, and verify shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Prepare, pack, consolidate, and set aside orders for shipment.
• Process returns and record inventory transactions in the WMS.
• Move, transport, and store goods within designated locations.
• Conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Label and organize goods within storage areas.

The order picker plays a vital role in the site’s overall supply chain. You will be primarily responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and efficiently moving goods within the warehouse.

Your daily work will directly contribute to inventory accuracy and the smooth fulfillment of customer orders. As part of your duties within our manufacturing and logistics division, you will handle a variety of goods while consistently adhering to rigorous standards of precision, productivity, and safety.

This position requires fluency in English, as it is an English-speaking work environment.

Day shift

Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. OR 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

$20/hour

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse operations, material handling, manufacturing, or logistics.
• Have a car, because public transportation does not serve this area.
• Proficiency in using computers and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Valid forklift operator certification or recognized experience operating material-handling equipment (a major asset).
• Physical ability to regularly lift loads of up to 40 lb (18 kg).
• Strict adherence to health and safety policies and operational standards at all times.
