Job summary

LASIK MD clinic located in Winnipeg, MB, part of Vision Group, is seeking an optometrist to join our eye care team and deliver top-tier eye care. You will collaborate with ophthalmologists and support staff while contributing to patient care throughout pre- and post-operative LASIK processes.

The role offers daytime hours (8:00am–4:30pm) with a flexible, part-time schedule (1 day per week) and a supportive environment focused on professional growth and patient safety.

Qualifications

• You hold a valid Optometry license (provincial college).
• You have excellent communication skills in English.

Your tasks at a glance:

• Providing expert guidance on eye health and treatment options.
• Collaborating seamlessly with our team of ophthalmologists and dedicated support staff.
• You will play a crucial role in pre- and post-operative care for LASIK surgery patients.
• You support the organization’s Risk Management program by identifying and promptly reporting patient safety concerns, incidents, or potential risks to clinic management, to assist in the organization’s overall efforts to identify, report, and mitigate risks.

Requirements:

• You hold a valid Optometry license (with a provincial college).
• You have excellent communication skills in English.
• You have previous working experience as an Optometrist in a clinic setting or are a recent graduate.
