• Assist with frame selection and educate patients on lens options.

Silver Specs Eye Care + Optical is a local, family friendly optometry clinic and optical servicing the town of Coaldale and surrounding area. Established November 2020, we aim to be the number one choice for eye care and eye wear to our neighbours.

Silver Specs Eye Care + Optical in Coaldale is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and responsible person to join our team in our growing practice. The job will include interacting with patients as they book their appointments, check in and out of their appointments, and using various equipment for testing. Other administrative duties include data entry, insurance claims and other various office tasks throughout the day.

There is also a retail component to the job including helping patients choose frames from various brands, and budgets, to complement the latest fashions.

The ideal candidate has good communication and inter-personal skills, works well in a team setting, is able to multi-task and problem solve, is detail-orientated, and is able to adapt to a quick changing environment. Basic computer skills is necessary. Experience in RevolutionEHR software is an asset.

The job is permanent full time Monday through Friday: 9 am through 5:30 pm.

Experience in reception and billing insurance companies an asset but we are willing to train the ideal candidate.
