Job description

We are seeking an experienced Optician to join Kitchener Eyecare as our Optical Leader and Office Manager. We're a friendly group that loves everything eyes and providing eyecare services for our community of patients :)

Responsibilities

1. Lead our Optical staff: through coaching and by performing duties directly.
2. Dispensing and Fitting: dispense prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses.
3. Patient Consultation: assist clients in selecting frames, lens materials, tints, coatings, and adjustments for optimal fit and comfort.
4. Administrative Tasks: manage orders, lab interactions, records, inventory, and customer information.

Qualifications

1. 6+ years of experience as a practicing Optician within an optical setting.
2. Registered Optician and Member of the Ontario Opticians Association.
