FYidoctors Prince Albert - 2nd Avenue is seeking an Optical Associate to join our patient-first team. You’ll welcome patients, assist with frame selection, take measurements, and support optical prescriptions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience or retail experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for patient experiences.
• Collaborative, adaptable team player with growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic via in person, phone, and email.
• Educate patients on eyewear options and assist with frame selection.
• Interpret optical prescriptions from the optometrist.
• Take frame and facial measurements for proper fit and adjustments.
• Coordinate appointments and prepare prescription printouts.
• Manage billing and payments for patients and insurers.
• Assist with contact lens fittings and orders.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and positive patient experiences.
• Support clinic operations with additional duties as required.
