FYidoctors Tisdale – Healthplex clinic in Saskatchewan is seeking an Optical Associate to deliver exceptional vision and eyewear experiences in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

You’ll greet patients, guide frame selection, take measurements, assist with fittings, handle billing, and support clinic operations while delivering outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous optical or retail experience is an asset.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email.
• Educate patients on eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, assisting with frame selection to ensure optimal value, quality, aesthetics, and performance.
• Interpret optical prescriptions provided by the optometrist.
• Perform frame and facial measurements, ensuring proper fit and positioning of new eyewear, as well as repairs and adjustments.
• Coordinate appointments and prepare prescription printouts.
• Manage billing and payments for patients, insurers and other third parties.
• Assist with contact lens fittings and process contact lens orders.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required.

Optical Associate

FYidoctors Tisdale – Healthplex clinic is looking for an optical associate to enhance the lives of our patients every day, delivering exceptional vision and eyewear experiences in a dynamic, rewarding, and collaborative environment.

This is a full‑time position (30‑40 hours per week). The clinic is open Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Educate patients on eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, assisting with frame selection to ensure optimal value, quality, aesthetics, and performance
