Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Sydney, Canada, is seeking a hands-on industrial cleaner to join our operations team. You will perform high‑pressure cleaning, operate a vacuum truck, and support safe, efficient service at multiple sites.

This role requires the ability to work night shifts and weekends, lift up to 75 lbs, and hold a Class 3 license. Strong communication and reliability are essential to represent the company well with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Class 3 license is required.
• Must have good communication skills to interact with peers and customers.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial cleaning using high-pressure methods and hose truck.
• Confined space entry where required.
• Operate vacuum truck and mobile wash equipment.
• Represent the Company with professional customer service at client sites.
• Work at multiple locations with safety in mind.

Job Duties

• Perform industrial cleaning using Hot Wash, High Pressure and Hose Truck
• Confined space entry
• Lift up to 50lbs to set up and control hoses, and to shovel waste material
• Operate vacuum truck and mobile wash
• Must be able to work night shift when required.
• Must be able to work weekends when required.
• Must be able to work long and changing shifts on short notice.
• Represent the Company by providing professional customer service to our clients, customers, vendors, both on and off the job
• Participate in all work related tasks as assigned by your Supervisor at a variety of locations in a safe and effective manner
• Other duties as assigned.
