Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Warehouse Operator for the Brantford, ON bakery to ensure safe material movement and timely shipping and production support.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, inventory accuracy, and GMP/safety compliance. Shift is Morning, Mon–Fri, with possible rotation; hourly rate is $30.08.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator license (Counterbalance, Walkie, Raymond Reach) from a recognized provider.
• Excellent communication in English (written and verbal).
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment.

About The Role

We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our team at our Brantford, ON bakery. As a Warehouse Operator, you will be accountable for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the facility, ensuring timely shipping, receiving, and production support to maintain operational flow.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: Morning (Monday–Friday) subject to change to rotation between Morning/Afternoon, if needed.
• Weekend availability: As required.

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $30.08

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Operate forklift equipment to safely transport materials throughout the facility
• Support production by supplying materials to picking lines and work areas
• Manage shipping and receiving activities, including accurate inventory handling
• Maintain compliance with GMP, safety, hygiene, and quality standards
• Complete inventory transactions and documentation within warehouse management systems (including SAP as needed)
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve material flow issues and ensure efficiency
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring To The Table)

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid forklift operator license (Counterbalance, Walkie, Raymond Reach) from a recognized provider
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and within a team
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
• Successful completion of a criminal background check (or pardon).

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients For Success)

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Experience using warehouse management systems or SAP
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or similar regulated environments
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail in inventory handling and documentation
