Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing in Surrey, BC, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day production within a defined value stream. You will oversee Team Leads and Operators, ensure safe operations, meet takt time, and drive KPI-aligned output in-office.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll collaborate with Planning, Materials, Quality and Maintenance, enforce 5S and standard work, and support onboarding and coaching to raise performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Five years of relevant experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with takt time, standard work, visual management and daily tier meetings.
• Strong people leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery and efficiency targets.
• Coach and evaluate Team Leads and Operators, fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Ensure adherence to schedules and takt time, and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with Planning, Materials, Quality and Maintenance for readiness.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality, delivery, or safety.
