Job summary

The Seaboard Transport Group seeks an Operations Supervisor to coordinate driver operations with a strong emphasis on safety, customer service, and policy compliance.

You will support the driver coordination team, assist in training new staff, and ensure operations follow company policies and industry regulations. Occasional cross-island travel and after-hours coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in dispatch, transportation coordination, or logistics, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Proficiency with TMW or similar transportation management systems and strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety, Compliance, and Operational Processes: create a culture of discipline around safety, service, and SOPs.
• Driver and Team Support: address day-to-day driver issues and train new team members.
• Customer Service and Communication: respond to escalated customer concerns with professionalism.
• Operational Coverage and Support: provide after-hours coverage and collaborate with fuel and management teams.
