Job summary

Lineage is seeking a Transportation Supervisor in Delta, BC, to lead a small team, manage driver scheduling, routing, and customer relations. The role focuses on service excellence, safety, and driving business growth through proactive customer engagement.

You will oversee daily operations, coach staff, and collaborate with Sales and Operations to identify service opportunities while maintaining strong regulatory compliance and KPI monitoring.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in transportation, logistics, or warehousing.
• Sales or customer-facing experience to identify business opportunities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with dispatch systems or transportation software (e.g., Truckmate).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily driver operations: dispatch, route optimization, and compliance with hours of service and maintenance schedules.
• Coach and manage drivers for safety, service quality, and performance; oversee training, onboarding, and documentation.
• Act as a front-line representative with customers: address service issues, identify upselling opportunities, and build trust-based relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to support customer growth, promote services, and contribute to business development goals.
• Support office operations and customer service: prioritize daily tasks, monitor KPIs, and ensure service excellence.
• Maintain driver records, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings.
• Support budget adherence, monitor performance reports, and manage office resources, supplies, and payables.
• Champion continuous improvement and employee engagement across transportation and warehousing functions.
