Job summary

Ryan Company Limited in Port Coquitlam is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a diverse team including route drivers, warehouse personnel and service technicians. You will mentor staff and ensure daily duties meet our quality standards while maintaining safety and SOP compliance.

The role requires strong people-management, technical literacy, and excellent communication. You will coordinate scheduling, oversee warehouse operations, and support cross-branch travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Job description

Salary Range: $52,000.00 To $60,000.00 Annually

Ryan Company is looking for an Operations Supervisor in Port Coquitlam. This role oversees a diverse team which includes route drivers. warehouse personnel and service technicians.

As a supervisor your primary focus is to support and mentor your team. This includes:

• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Work Practices
• Ensure daily duties are completed efficiently, accurately and according to our quality standards
• Optimize and ongoing refinement of scheduling and planograms
• Oversee a warehouse and ensure it remains in optimal operating condition and is well-stocked with product
• Oversee and support a service technician, ensuring they have the tools and resources required to complete to work. Schedule cross-training of other team members in this department as required
• Ongoing coaching, mentorship and upskilling of your team members; setting and monitoring progress towards targets; performance management as required
• Analysis of data and making decisions/refinements based on a balance of both data and team feedback
• Work interdepartmentally and across regions to ensure your team has what is required, our customers are satisfied, and company priorities are met
• Preparedness to get hands on and act as a back up for any team members
• Hiring, training and continued upskilling of new team members are required

You can expect to have a varied workload, doing what is required to keep your team operating at full capacity. This role requires some overnight travel as it also supports other branches across the province.
