Responsibilities
  1. Provide overall leadership for the Customer Service Center (CSC), overseeing student transportation, driver training, and vehicle maintenance to align with business goals.
  2. Lead staff by promoting safety, efficiency, and effectiveness in operations.
  3. Ensure staff training requirements are met, and all employees have the necessary skills.
  4. Set performance expectations, coach, and counsel staff; administer discipline when needed.
  5. Ensure compliance with company policies and escalate violations appropriately.
  6. Oversee adherence to state and district regulations.
  7. Represent the company professionally in meetings with School District Representatives.
  8. Prepare and submit customer-related reports timely.
  9. Manage customer and employee complaints, review survey data.
  10. Maintain knowledge of CSC contracts and operational requirements.
  11. Audit employees' time sheets and manage labor hours to meet budgets.
  12. Review daily exception reports and approve expenditures per guidelines.
  13. Ensure optimal vehicle utilization and routing efficiency.
  14. Uphold high ethical standards and report suspicious or inappropriate behavior.
Qualifications
  1. High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience, with 3 years in ground transportation preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
  3. Knowledge of MS Office and transportation-related software.
  4. Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Valid Commercial Driver’s License with appropriate endorsements.
  6. Bilingual abilities are an asset.
