Penske Logistics is seeking a proven leader with relevant experience to supervise drivers at one of our locations.

The Operations Supervisor provides direction at a single location, leading staff to meet customer requirements while aligning with Penske goals and objectives.

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (hours may vary)

Salary : $54,300 - $72,000, bonus eligible up to 12%

Position Summary : Provide operational leadership to ensure daily tasks such as driver deliveries, trailer loading / unloading, and customer service are executed efficiently, meeting company standards and cost objectives. Supervise processes, people, systems, and equipment, including workforce and equipment scheduling. Manage performance, conduct disciplinary actions, participate in hiring, and attend customer meetings as needed.

Major Responsibilities :

• People : Ensure staff training, competence, performance standards, and motivation.
• Operations : Oversee logistics, conduct team meetings, improve work methods, and ensure operational compliance.
• Finance : Ensure adherence to financial policies, manage work hours, and optimize productivity.
• Safety : Promote safety activities, training, and compliance with regulations.
• Growth / Customer Experience : Meet customer goals, exceed expectations, and identify improvement areas.
• Fleet / Assets : Plan work assignments, ensure equipment maintenance, and coordinate with vendors.

Job Qualifications :

• Leadership qualities, interpersonal skills, and relationship-building ability.
• Efficient, independent work style with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Problem-solving, decision-making, and process improvement capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Regular attendance, travel willingness, and passing background / drug screening.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to read, communicate, analyze information, and follow instructions.
• Stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
