Job Opening: Operations Manager at Hotel Equities

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a dedicated Operations Manager for the Fairfield Edmonton International Airport, Edmonton, AB.

Job Purpose:

Oversee and manage the hotel's core functions (Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry, F&B) to ensure customer satisfaction and quality service, while achieving financial targets. Responsible for short and long-term planning, day-to-day operations, budgeting, marketing, and developing objectives. Provide warm, knowledgeable service and guidance to guests.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage Human Resources to attract, retain, and motivate staff, including hiring, training, coaching, performance reviews, and discipline.
2. Develop and manage the annual budget, marketing plans, forecasts, and objectives.
3. Implement company and local programs, ensuring compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
4. Resolve customer complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels.
5. Follow emergency procedures and train staff accordingly.
6. Promote accident prevention to minimize liabilities.
7. Oversee maintenance and sanitation to protect assets and ensure quality service.
8. Act as General Manager in their absence.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt standards.
• Advanced knowledge of hospitality and business management.
• Strong decision-making and communication skills.
