Job summary

Nors Group in Ottawa is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a single profit center, delivering profitable growth across sales, service, parts, aftermarket, and safety while aligning with the One NORS Canada operating model.

As the “CEO of the Branch”, you will own performance metrics, drive Lean improvements, and develop a high-performing team that enhances customer experience and strengthens key relationships.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years management experience in heavy equipment or related industry.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and market share.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
  • Solid problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Good computer systems knowledge and ability to work with technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Own branch P&L and drive profitable growth at the local market.
  • Align sales, service, parts and aftermarket with the One NORS Canada model.
  • Lead safety culture and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop leadership capabilities and build a high-performing team.

We are looking for a Operations Manager to join our team in Ottawa.

What's the challenge?

The Operatios Manager is the business leader of a single profit center, responsible for delivering profitable and sustainable growth across all business functions within the local market. The role owns full branch performance including sales, service, parts, aftermarket, safety, people, and customer experience, ensuring alignment with the One NORS Canada operating model.

The Operations Manager acts as the “CEO of the Branch”, accountable for:

  • Branch P&L performance and financial discipline
  • Growth in market share within the local territory
  • Customer experience and key account relationships
  • Safety culture and regulatory compliance
  • Integration of sales, parts, service, and aftermarket
  • Leadership development and team capability

Execution of Lean operating rhythm and continuous improvement
