Main Tasks

• Load press / machine with correct rubber.
• Operate injection molding machines and presses.
• Closely inspect parts within cycle time by following quality inspection instructions and alerts, removing flash.
• Package finished parts as per required quantity; label and prepare for shipping, place on skid.
• Notify Supervisor or Lead Hand of any unusual amounts of scrap, including new / unusual defects.
• Maintain traceability and identification of parts by confirming correct labels are placed on boxes.
• Ensure fabric is pulled and sprues are inspected for mold foul, or other rubber related issues.
• Communication of issues during shift overlap to incoming Machine Operator.
• General housekeeping : sweeping area, removing build-up of rubber and parts spillage in work area.

Qualifications :

• High School (Secondary School) diploma.
• 1+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, short correspondences and memorandums.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent to operate press equipment : automated and manuals.
