We are seeking General Operators to join our team in Milton, ON. This position offers a continental rotating shift schedule with 12-hour shifts rotating from day to night weekly.

You must be able and willing to work both day and night shifts.

• 12-hour shifts are from 8:00 – 8:00 or 7:00 – 7:00

Your future team:

You will become part of the Operations team on the production line, reporting to the Production Supervisor. Each team has up to 9-12 members working together to produce high-quality stone wool products.

What you will be doing:

• Cleaning work areas regularly throughout the shift
• Feeding and operating equipment on the packaging lines
• Reporting mechanical and electrical issues immediately
• Hand stacking and granulating waste as required
• Operating forklift and floor washer as qualified
• Preparing new sets of SPC filters and performing filter changes
• Keeping tool storage areas clean and organized
• Maintaining cleanliness of the recycle room, afterburner, and waste disposal
• Cleaning Pendulum, DDD, and LHC conveyor areas
• Changing out cooling zone filters, tables, ducting, and fans

What you bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of health & safety requirements and ability to work safely
• Experience in machine setup and computer operation
• Knowledge of equipment operation for safety
• Forklift certification
• Strong work ethic, team player, good communication skills
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures
• Ability to work on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule
• Self-motivated, energetic, positive attitude

Work Environment & Conditions:

• Fast-paced production facility
• Standing/walking on concrete floors for 12 hours
• Lifting up to 25 kg, with assistance up to 50 kg
• Using basic hand tools safely
• Shoveling heavy waste
• Wearing protective equipment for extended periods
