The Digital Design and Delivery (DDD) division within the Ministry of Technology and Innovation (TI) leads the development of the next generation of digital public services for the GoA. DDD partners with other departments to deliver products, platforms and services that are better, faster, and easier, through modern user-centered agile processes. DDD offers potential candidates a unique opportunity to work on meaningful challenges that transform government and positively impact Albertans.
The Platforms branch within DDD is accountable for supporting ministry programs through the planning, development, delivery and operations of user-centered common platform services. The branch builds and develops common platforms and data services that enable product teams to deliver working software that meets the needs of their users.
Role Responsibilities
The Platforms branch is looking for an Operations Coordinator. This position reports to the Manager, Product Operations.
The Responsibilities Of This Role Include
- Supporting the delivery of the operational program (onboarding, change management, stakeholder lifecycle, offboarding) for Alberta.ca Account and related products.
- Maintaining and updating operational program materials, under the guidance of the Operations Advisor and Manager, Product Operations.
- Managing the operational program content site and stakeholder repository (e.g., SharePoint, Wiki).
- Acting as secretariat monthly meetings with the Alberta.ca Account Contact Centre to identify emergent issues.
- Assisting the unit / branch to achieve goals in line with Department and government priorities and stakeholder needs.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- A 2-year post secondary diploma in a related field such as Information Technology, Public Administration, Business, or Arts plus a minimum of two (2) years of related progressively responsible experience.
- Experience with change Management, conflict management, project management, or negotiations.
Equivalencies
- A related bachelors degree with no direct experience; or
- A related one-year certificate and a minimum of three (3) years of related experience; or
- A minimum of four (4) years of related experience.
Assets
- SharePoint Administrator experience.

Hours of Work: 7.25 hours daily / 36.25 weekly – Monday to Friday
Location: Remote across Alberta
This position is eligible for remote work. You must reside in Alberta to work remotely.
