ABB is seeking an Operations Coordinator in Canada to provide cross-functional support across Production, Planning, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Logistics. You will coordinate daily operations, maintain records, and drive process improvements in a strict on-site setting.

Ideal candidates hold a DEC in Administration/Operations/Logistics, have 3+ years of coordination experience in manufacturing, and are fluent in French and English. Proactive, organized team players are encouraged to apply.

  • DEC in Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a coordination role, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support operational planning, scheduling, and cross-functional activities.
  • Prepare, maintain, and communicate reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
  • Support purchasing activities, including purchase orders and delivery tracking.
  • Coordinate maintenance, service requests, and facility-related initiatives.
  • Help ensure shipping, receiving, and logistics accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain operational records and ERP/system data; track NCRs and drive improvements.

Working closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Maintenance, Shipping & Receiving, and support teams, this role helps coordinate daily operational activities and drive process efficiency.The work model for the role is: ON SITEKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and support operational planning, scheduling, and cross-functional activities.Prepare, maintain, and communicate reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.Support purchasing activities, including purchase orders, supplier follow-ups, and delivery tracking.Coordinate maintenance activities, service requests, and facility-related initiatives.Support shipping, receiving, and logistics operations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.Maintain operational records, databases, and ERP/system data.Track non-conformances (NCRs) and support continuous improvement initiatives.Coordinate administrative activities, including visitor access, office supplies, and facility support.Assist with special projects and other operational priorities as required.QualificationsDEC in Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field (asset).Minimum 3 years of experience in a coordination role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).ERP or manufacturing systems experience is an asset.Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and autonomy.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Detail-oriented, professional, and results-driven.Team player with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.Employment Equity & Inclusion Statement (Canada)ABB values the dedication, commitment, and expertise of all our employees.
