Job description

KTB Marine is a professional services business located in Toronto, Canada, providing supply chain consulting for marine transportation, shipbroking, and data analytics solutions for over 35 years.

Our clients include Fortune 500 companies, oil and gas companies, private equity investment firms, government organizations, and universities.

Location
This is a remote position available only to candidates who are eligible to work in Canada.

Job Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operational functions to ensure that the requirements of our client accounts are met:

  • Advising on shipping and supply chain contracts.
  • Updating and maintaining various dashboards to maintain our internal operations, as well as similar trackers for clients.
  • Identifying insights from data.
  • Preparing reports and presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Building data trackers, reports, and analyses in Excel.
  • Manage Project Management software inputs.
  • Parsing through shipping market reports and creating market-specific PowerPoint decks.
  • Daily project/client management.
  • Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly internal and client reports.
  • Building strategic relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to identify opportunities for creating value.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of office experience or equivalent.
  • Project Management, Marine Operations experience / Supply Chain Logistics experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience with project management tools preferred (i.e. Wrike, Mondays, Asana, MS Project, etc.).
  • Dedication to fostering a positive, team-based environment and upholding company culture and values.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Must have strong Excel skills.
  • Abide by strict confidentiality and nondisclosure requirements of the company and company’s clients.
  • Enjoy working independently; can work autonomously and with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent business communication skills (email and conversational).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Motivated and eager to take on new challenges.

Preferred/Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's of Commerce or Supply Chain or equivalent preferred.
