Job summary

Brewers Distributor Ltd. is seeking an Operations Administrator for the Port Coquitlam Distribution Centre. This full-time, 12-month contract role reports to the Operations Supervisor and will involve daily operations support, data-entry, and coordination with carriers and customers.

The role requires a high school diploma and experience with SAP/ERP systems is preferred. The successful candidate will have strong MS Office skills, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch or warehouse environment preferable.

Responsibilities

• Daily reporting and ongoing verification/compilation of paperwork
• Support operations working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Effective communication and customer service skills as this position requires direct contact with internal and external customers or third-party carriers
• Scheduling inbound and outbound load appointments with flexibility
• Investigating and completing customer credit requests
• Building load manifests
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

The Role

We are currently searching for an Operations Administrator, reporting to the Operations Supervisor. This vacancy is a full-time, 12-month contract opportunity. Candidates will primarily work dayshift but must be available for evenings and weekends as well. The Operations Administrator plays a key role in supporting daily operations and administrative tasks that support the overall logistics efficiency.

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• Preferable experience with SAP, and/or similar ERP systems experience using business process management software
• Experience working within a dispatch or warehouse environment would be preferable

• Exceptional data-entry speed and accuracy
• Proven ability to produce accurate, efficient and timely documentation
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent customer service, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills

Compensation

Salary range? Yup, we’ve got one: $19.04 - $23.80 CAD per hour. But here’s the real deal - if you’re the perfect brew of experience, skills, and personality, we’re open to exploring beyond the range. Tell us what you’re working with, and let’s pour over it together.

The base hourly rate for this position will range between $19.04/hour and $23.80/hour.
