Job summary

Dollarama is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to support the Calgary Distribution Centre team in identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and standardizing processes across sites. The incumbent will produce and analyze reports and manage projects from needs assessment through implementation and user training.

The role requires leading cross-functional initiatives, driving standardization, and coaching teams on change management to achieve operational excellence on the floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel; Power Platform is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP EWM or other Warehouse Management System is a plus.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze site operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Standardize processes, KPIs, and management methods across logistics sites.
• Ensure proper implementation of new procedures and training.
• Integrate continuous improvement methods into daily operations.
• Lead problem-solving activities and implement corrective actions.
• Map and document business processes and SOPs.
• Analyze SAP data and other databases to identify opportunities.
• Deploy new practices and procedures with cross-functional teams.
• Act as change agent, coaching operations teams through change management initiatives.
• Provide user training and post-implementation support.
• Support and train managers in effective operation management.
• Maintain and improve KPI reports and dashboards.
