Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to strengthen our security posture across operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, IAM, and risk analysis.

You will collaborate with business, cybersecurity, operations and technical teams to advance cybersecurity initiatives in Calgary. The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, translating business needs into actionable requirements, supporting testing, change management and benefits realization, and

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, controls, frameworks.
• Experience with incident management, threat hunting, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and remediation tracking.
• Knowledge of IAM concepts: MFA, SSO, PAM, and identity governance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to elicit needs and plan initiatives.
• Document current and future business processes; define KPIs and success criteria.
• Translate requirements into user stories and functional specs; validate solutions.
• Support testing, change management, and post-implementation reviews.
