Irving Shipbuilding is seeking an experienced IT project leader to bridge business and technical teams, delivering a portfolio of IT implementation projects in a fast-moving environment on-site at Dartmouth, NS.

Requirements include 5+ years in PM/IT, strong communication and stakeholder skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business/CS/Engineering. Eligibility for CGP/ITAR and related clearances is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• 5+ years of project management and IT experience with demonstrated career progression.
• Strong relationship-building, leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive decisions to completion.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders.
• Facilitate discussions to identify and document business problems and outcomes.
• Lead the delivery of IT projects through all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and communications.
• Implement projects using established project management methodologies, developing and maintaining project plans and governance.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, systems, reporting, and automation.
