Job summary

J.D. Irving, Limited is seeking a new graduate to join as a Project Coordinator on-site in Canada. You’ll assist with planning, coordination, and reporting, supporting Program and Project Managers across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

As an entry-level role, you’ll gain hands-on experience delivering projects while learning processes, dashboards, and budget tracking, with full-time on-site requirements and CGP/ITAR clearance considerations.

Qualifications

  • Education required: University degree or college diploma in IT, Business, Engineering or related field.
  • Interest in project management and coordination roles.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

  • Support Program Managers in developing and maintaining program reports (schedule, finance and invoice, purchase orders).
  • Support Project Managers in developing and maintaining project schedules, timelines, and work plans.
  • Coordinate meetings, resources, and day-to-day project activities.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including status updates, risk logs, and issue trackers.
  • Prepare status reports and dashboard updates for stakeholders.
  • Track project-related costs and assist with budget reporting activities.
  • Support continuous improvement of project processes and documentation.

Skills

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented new graduate to join our team as a Project Coordinator. In this role, you will support Project Managers and Program Managers in delivering projects across the organization by assisting with planning, coordination, and reporting activities. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project delivery while working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
