Job summary

Finlink Group is seeking an Accounting & Finance Director to own end-to-end financial leadership in a cross-border environment based in Montreal, QC. The role blends hands-on control with strategic oversight, guiding the accounting operations and partnering with senior leadership.

You will direct close cycles, consolidate entities, manage intercompany activity, and build robust internal controls and reporting to support growth and cross-border initiatives.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or progress toward CPA with strong accounting experience.
• Must have solid accounting operations experience including month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience overseeing multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and consolidations.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate external accountants, auditors, and professional advisors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounting cycle across multiple entities and ensure accurate records.
• Lead monthly and year-end close, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports for Canada and US entities.
• Manage intercompany transactions and consolidation activities.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls over A/P, AR, and payroll.
• Oversee inventory accounting and liaise with 3PL providers.
