Job summary

ResQ is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to own the accounting function for its Canadian parent and U.S. subsidiaries. This high-autonomy role involves technical accounting, compliance decisions, and building scalable processes as ResQ scales across North America.

You will lead the close, consolidate entities, and drive deep P&L and margin analysis across service lines. Applicants should bring CPA credentials and strong cross-border experience.

Qualifications

• CPA designation (CPA Canada, CPA US, or equivalent) required.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience including Controller or senior role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS for services and warranties.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency cross-border accounting.
• Proficient Excel and Google Sheets; Looker/Omni experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the Accounting Function: oversee daily ops, reporting, and consolidation.
• Lead the monthly and annual financial close processes.
• Drive P&L and margin analysis across service lines.
• Build and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Oversee AR, AP, and cash management across entities.
• Manage cross-border tax and compliance for US/Canada.
• Support cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.
