Job summary

Mason Companies, Inc. is seeking a Dock Field Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain dock equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot docks, levelers, restraints, and seals, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure a safe, clean work environment.

The role requires high school completion and at least 2 years welding or dock repair experience, plus mechanical and electrical aptitude. You will travel to customer facilities, service a company truck, and document work performed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years welding and/or dock repair experience.
• General mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring/hydraulic diagrams.
• Experience with welding equipment (manual/semi-automatic).
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install docks and related components (levelers, restraints, seals).
• Perform planned maintenance on customer dock equipment.
• Use manuals, wiring diagrams and hydraulic schematics to diagnose failures.
• Maintain service truck and inventory; document work performed.
• Self-manage administration duties and documentation of work performed.
• Ensure customer work area is clean and free of debris, oil and grease.
