Job summary

Precision Drilling is hiring an MPD Field Technician to support rig operations on-site. You will install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain MPD equipment, ensuring readiness and safety while meeting customer requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years oilfield experience with MPD, and the ability to read technical manuals and schematics. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel and work rotating schedules are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Install, rig up, operate, troubleshoot, and rig down MPD equipment in field and shop environments
• Inspect, maintain, and prepare equipment including pressure control, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Monitor performance and perform basic repairs to support safe operations
• Follow safety standards and communicate equipment status with crews, supervisors, and customers
• Maintain documentation, support inventory and shop activities, and contribute to continuous improvement
