Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a Continuous Improvement General Supervisor at the Detour Lake Mine. You will report to the Project Manager and ensure goals align with our safety, environment, and operating excellence values.

You will own and drive the Strategic Optimization roadmap, govern MOS, and coach leaders across functions to deliver high-quality improvements and measurable value.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in continuous improvement or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of Strategic Optimization methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Ability to coach, influence, and build capability across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the site Strategic Optimization roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Establish and govern SO processes, standards, and methodologies across the site.
• Facilitate and support SO initiatives while enabling departments to own project execution.
• Provide coaching and guidance to leaders and teams on SO tools, practices, and roles.
• Drive implementation and governance of the MOS; ensure consistency across site functions.
• Monitor SO performance, progress, and value delivery; report outcomes.
