Job summary

Bitdeer Energy Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Construction Coordinator to support data center builds and power plant facilities in Alberta.

You will drive daily on-site safety, quality execution, and field activity tracking while coordinating with subcontractors to meet project specifications and safety standards. The role requires 7–10+ years of field industrial construction experience in Alberta, with strong knowledge of safety practices, QA/QC, and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of field-based industrial construction experience in Alberta.
• CSO/CSTS-20 and Standard First Aid certifications (hazard identification training is a plus).
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, P&IDs and single-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of OH&S regulations and QA/QC practices in field construction.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and field activities in power/heavy industrial sites.

Responsibilities

• Project Execution Oversight: ensure on-site construction aligns with design, contract requirements for quality, performance and schedule.
• On-Site Safety Leadership: audit field safety, lead toolbox talks, enforce OH&S regulations including LOTO, hot work permits, confined space entry, and environmental procedures.
• Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC): oversee ITPs, field inspections, NCRs, and CAPA follow-ups.
• Contractor & Field Activity Coordination: manage weekly construction planning, RFIs, redline drawings, submittals, and SIMOPS.
• Material & Delivery Verification: inspect equipment/materials on-site, verify documentation, ensure proper storage and handling.
• Progress Tracking & Turn-Over: maintain daily logs, verify completed work quantities, assist with punch-list and turnover packages.
