Job summary

Clark Builders in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Utilities Construction, to oversee multiple large-scale projects and provide technical and training support in collaboration with the Operations team. You will help manage the Sturgeon Data Center project, initially from the temporary joint venture office in downtown Edmonton before transitioning to the site near Fort Saskatchewan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, construction, or related field.
• 8+ years of building construction leadership experience.
• Direct experience on large-scale utilities construction projects.
• Ability to coordinate with utility providers, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple or large project scopes and support Operations teams.
• Lead tenders, bid leveling, and scope reviews; oversee contract execution.
• Attend ORM and OAC meetings and coordinate with Architects/Engineers.
• Develop and review Project Execution Plans and QC Plans.
• Lead project startup and monitor procedures; manage staff across projects.
• Ensure safety, ethics, and compliance on all projects.
