Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the property, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready inspections, coordinating with vendors, maintaining documentation, and supporting grounds maintenance, with on-call and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Obtains materials and coordinates with vendors/contractors; tracks inventory and reports re-order needs.
• Documents work promptly and accurately to ensure service requests are tracked.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans, paints, and maintains curb and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
