Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of a stabilized property in Bedford, NS. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, address resident requests, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards across common areas.

The role requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience, EPA certifications, and a valid driver’s license. You will work 8 am–5 pm Tuesday–Saturday with on-call duties and enjoy a housing discount and potential incentive-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience of 1–2 years or more.
• Ability to diagnose defects, perform repairs safely and per code.
• Professional maintenance duties including make-ready, grounds & cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Makes-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and scheduling.
• Manages materials and inventory with the maintenance supervisor.
• Documents and paperwork for service requests in a timely, accurate manner.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, cleans, paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting and expense control by using parts efficiently and safely.
