Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle technical and mechanical work ensuring building systems, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. The role includes diagnosing issues, completing work orders, and assisting with make-ready processes for vacant units.

Responsibilities include inventory and vendor coordination, paperwork accuracy, and contributing to cost-control by repairing parts when feasible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or related experience and/or training.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance while diagnosing defects.
• Makes repairs in accordance with safety standards and codes.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Tracks materials, inventories, and coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Maintains grounds and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
