Dusk'a Head Start Family Learning Centre in Whitehorse, Yukon, is seeking qualified Level 1 to 3 Early Childhood Educators for an on-call role with potential to become permanent. You will support children 18 months to 5 years, contribute to Aboriginal Head Start programming, and work within a culturally driven centre.

Applicants should have an ECE Level 1–3 designation (Diploma preferred) and experience with First Nations’ language and culture.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combo of post-secondary education with current childcare experience considered.
• Level 1–3 ECE designation required or equivalent.
• Experience in First Nations or cultural capacity is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Plan, develop and implement recreational, social, life skills and parenting activities for First Nation children.
• Contribute to and enhance Aboriginal Head Start programming within the centre.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to support holistic child development.
