Since being founded by parents in 1960, CysticFibrosis Canada has grown into a leading organization with a centralrole engaging people living with cystic fibrosis, parents andcaregivers, volunteers, researchers and healthcare professionals,government and donors, all working together to change lives throughtreatments, research, information and support. THE ROLE AND IMPACT:
The Officer, Events will workalongside the Events and Community Fundraising Team (National andThird Party) as well as internal stakeholders to support fundraisingthrough the execution of CF Canada and third party event activity.
The Officer, Events will, first and foremost, be a fundraiserwith strong planning and event management skills including logistics,program delivery, volunteer engagement and stewardship. This role isresponsible for managing the execution of national or third-partyevents, ensuring fundraising and recruitment targets are met. Thisvaried role will support a mix of fundraisers and donors who supportCF Canada through one of our National Events (The Walk To Make CysticFibrosis History, Lawn Summer Nights, Worldwide Trek or Shinerama) orthrough our Third-Party and DIY program (ChangeMakers).
