Job description

We are looking for an experienced Office & Payroll Manager to manage daily operations, payroll, HR functions, financial processes, and compliance requirements. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy managing a team, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization
  2. Process the Company’s monthly payroll and provide the relevant Sage reports
  3. Lead and support a small office team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  4. Provide PA support to the Managing Director
  5. Oversee the Company’s HR function
  6. Ensure compliance with Q Mark accreditation, ISO standards, and other regulatory requirements
  7. Manage documentation, filing systems, cyber security updates, and communication with staff and clients
  8. Prepare and manage banking reports, expenses, and financial records
  9. Support the accounts team with invoicing, bookkeeping, payroll, bank reconciliations, revenue returns, and audit queries
  10. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve business performance
  11. Maintain vendor relationships and oversee office procurement
  12. Handle IT, HR, and administrative troubleshooting
  13. Ensure smooth office operations by proactively addressing challenges
  14. Recruit office staff when required

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Proven experience in office management, HR, and financial processes
  2. Practical Sage Professional experience and IPASS essential
  3. Experience with Q Mark accreditation and ISO standards is a plus
  4. High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  5. Knowledge of Timegate would be beneficial but not essential
  6. Highly organized, reliable, adaptable, and proactive
  7. Minimum 5 years experience in similar role
