Job summary

Bridgemans Services Group LP (Bridgemans Crew Management Ltd.) is seeking an Office Cleaner to service vessels near Squamish, BC. This rotational role runs for three years with the possibility of extension, and includes a defined shift pattern aboard MV Isabelle X and Saga-Company vessels.

You will clean, sanitize, and maintain office spaces, cabins, and common areas, while complying with MARPOL standards and shipboard safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.
• Physically fit to work in moving environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize office spaces, meeting rooms, corridors, stairwells, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Empty trash and disposal of waste in accordance with shipboard protocols.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Dust and wipe down office furniture, cabins, fixtures, and equipment.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, railings, and shared equipment.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries in restrooms, cabins and office pantries.
• Report any maintenance issues to the relevant department.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including MARPOL standards.

• Required to hold valid MED Domestic Vessel Safety certificate, Crowd and Crisis Management certificate, marine medical certificate, which employer will support arranging and subsidizing
