Job summary

Bridgemans Crew Management Ltd. is seeking a Dining Room Attendant to support vessel dining operations aboard MV Isabelle X and Saga-Company Vessels alongside Squamish, BC. You will assist the galley staff, help residents with menu items, and ensure side stations are correctly set.

This role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and teamwork, with a rotating schedule and opportunities to advance within Bridgemans Services. English is the language of work on board.

Qualifications

• Must have English language proficiency.
• Valid vessel safety and medical certificates or ability to obtain with employer support.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging dining service.
• Assist galley crew in all aspects of the dining experience.
• Assist residents regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Ensure proper setup of all side stations in the dining room.
• Have knowledge of menu items and offerings; follow outlet policies and service standards.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies when handling food/beverages and cleaning the dining room.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Dining Room Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
• Assist the galley crew in all aspects of the dining experience
• Assist residents regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Ensure the proper setup of all side stations in the dining room
• Have knowledge of menu items and offerings
• Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages and cleaning the dining room
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Required to hold valid MED Domestic Vessel Safety certificate, Crowd and Crisis Management certificate, marine medical certificate, which employer will support arranging and subsidizing.
