Job summary

McGill University in Canada is seeking an Administrative Support role for the Admissions Systems team. Under supervision, the incumbent provides data entry, record maintenance, research, system testing, data analysis and reporting to support admissions services throughout the admissions cycle.

The position is part-time (10 hours/week) with hourly salary of $16.85 AMUSE. Start date 2026-09-07; End date 2027-05-31.

  • Research, create, update, and maintain entries in the McGill institution table.
  • Focusing on school names, language of instruction, and contact information among other data points.
  • Research admissions policies, practices, and processes at other post-secondary institutions and prepare summaries or reports of findings.
  • Review and validate raw data; compile reports, statistics, and other information to support admissions leadership and decision-making.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality, documenting results and identifying issues.

Job Summary Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent provides administrative and operational support to the Admissions Systems team. The incumbent assists with data entry, record maintenance, research, system testing, data analysis and the preparation of reports and basic statistics. Working in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, the incumbent supports admissions operations and contributes to the effective delivery of admissions services throughout the admissions cycle.

  • Research, create, update, and maintain entries in the McGill institution table, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

  • focusing on school names, language of instruction, and contact information among other data points.

  • Research admissions policies, practices, and processes at other post-secondary institutions and prepare summaries or reports of findings.
