Job summary

Frontline Transport is seeking an Office Administrator in Mississauga, on-site, for a permanent full-time role. Starts as soon as possible with 1 year to 2 years of experience preferred.

Salary is $30.00 per hour, 32–40 hours per week, with responsibilities spanning budget support, records processing under privacy laws, and coordinating office services. The ideal candidate will implement and review administrative procedures, supervise staff, and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced

Qualifications

  • 1 year to less than 2 years experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to implement and review administrative procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement new administrative procedures.
  • Review and evaluate existing procedures.
  • Delegate work to office support staff.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures and deadlines are met.
  • Carry out routine administrative activities for the establishment.
  • Coordinate and plan for office services (supplies, equipment, security).
  • Assist in operating budget preparation and inventory controls.
  • Prepare data, reports, manuals and correspondence.

  • Carry out administrative activities of establishment
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
