Job summary

Pack-Smart Inc. in Vaughan, Canada is seeking an hands-on Odoo ERP Technical Administrator to own the day-to-day health of our Odoo v17 environment.

You will support Engineering, Procurement, Inventory and Assembly teams, troubleshoot issues, configure and improve the system, and ensure changes are tested and documented before release. The role requires 2+ years of Odoo administration, strong Python/XML/PostgreSQL skills, and experience with Git workflows and Odoo.sh.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience administering and configuring Odoo (v17 or later preferred).
• Working knowledge of Python, XML, PostgreSQL, and Odoo’s development framework.
• Practical experience reading, debugging, and maintaining REST APIs, JSON-RPC, or webhook integrations.
• Demonstrated experience using Git and structured staging-to-production workflows.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• A quick learner who enjoys untangling complex, interconnected problems, including ones outside your existing experience.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day triage and user support: Tier1/2 support for internal Odoo issues across Engineering, Procurement, Inventory, Assembly and other departments.
• Diagnose and resolve blockers such as manufacturing order validations, stock move errors, picking discrepancies, and user permissions.
• Translate technical issues into clear, simple guidance for non-technical users.
• Manage user access and security groups across all departments.
• Build and maintain native configurations, including automated server actions, custom and inherited views, filters, and reporting dashboards.
• Monitor database health, scheduled actions, and automated email and system notifications.
• Code maintenance, testing and release: follow version control and staging-to-production deployment practices using Git and Odoo.sh, testing all fixes in a staging environment before release.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of configuration changes, bug fixes, and troubleshooting playbooks.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing on larger, partner-delivered initiatives.

Job Title: Odoo ERP Technical Administrator – Power the Systems BehindWorld-Class Automation

We’re looking for a hands-on Odoo ERPTechnical Administrator to own the day-to-day health of our Odoo v17environment. In this role, you’ll be the go-to resource for our Engineering, Procurement, Inventory, and Assembly teams, keeping the system running smoothlyso they can focus on building world-class machines. You’ll troubleshoot issuesas they arise, configure and improve the system, and make sure every change istested and documented before it reaches production.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually

KeyResponsibilities

I. Day-to-Day Triage & UserSupport

• Experience inan Engineer-to-Order (ETO) or Make-to-Order (MTO) manufacturing environment.
