Job summary

Bruyère Health is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for outpatient programs in Ottawa. The role involves delivering occupational therapy services for geriatric day hospital patients, under the Clinical Manager, and contributing to interdisciplinary care planning.

Ideal candidates are licensed OTs in Ontario, with FIM certification and experience in seating/mobility; bilingual English/French is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Mandatory FIM certification completed within the hospital’s timeline.

Responsibilities

POSITION TYPE : Permanent, Part-time, Day, 67.5 hours / pay period, 0.9 FTE SALARY SCALE : $45.002 to $54.792 per hour CLOSING DATE : 2026 - 10 - 05*

What would my role be?

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of occupational therapy treatment and care of patients.

**For information purpose only, please note that the position is currently aligned with Geriatric Day Hospital, subject to change.

Required :

  • Practicing member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Successful completion of the mandatory FIM (Functional Independence Measure) certification provided by the hospital within the established timeline

Preferred :

  • Knowledge and experience in seating and mobility
  • Experience in supervising students
  • ADP (Assistant Device Program) authorizer or eligible
  • Fluent in French and English
