Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist I at the Northwest Health Centre in High Level, Alberta. You will guide clinical decisions, support clients through meaningful interventions, and collaborate with families, interdisciplinary team members, and community partners to enhance functional independence and quality of care.

You will contribute to quality improvement, supervise students, and participate in interprofessional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program.
• Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Responsibilities

• Guide clinical decisions and support clients through meaningful interventions.
• Collaborate with families, interdisciplinary team members, and community partners.
• Provide evidence-informed OT services to enhance independence and quality of care.
• Mentor students and supervise Therapy Assistants as needed.
