BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care Career Center in Calgary is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to support children across BrightPath centres. The role focuses on promoting independence, development, and participation in daily activities for diverse needs, with compensation of CAD 65–90 per hour.

Responsibilities include maintaining licensure, collaborating with families and educators, monitoring progress, and ensuring privacy and compliant records.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registered member, in good standing with the ACOT.
  • Specialization or experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to positively impact the lives of the families we serve.
  • Valid Alberta driver’s license, access to a vehicle during work hours, and willingness to drive to BrightPath centers throughout Calgary.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • School year contract position. Must have their own insurance.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, intervention plans, and progress notes
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all policies and procedures of the organization
  • Contribute to program development and clinical quality initiatives for the organization
