Job summary

Windfall Mining Group seeks an Occupational Health Nurse for the Windfall site in northern Québec. The role supports health services, with a 15 days on/13 days off schedule; transportation, accommodation and meals are provided.

Reporting to the Superintendent, Health Services, you will assess workers, manage medical files and lead emergency care, with collaboration across HSE and management teams in a mining environment.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree with at least five years of experience.
• OIIQ member in good standing.
• Training in expanded-scope role and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical and mental condition of workers who consult them.
• Provide care and monitor health status including emergencies.
• Carry out medical evacuations as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date medical files for workers.
• Manage occupational and personal disability files and return-to-work support.
• Follow up on pre-employment and annual medical examinations.
• Maintain nursing care procedures and psychosocial health initiatives.
